here is a match report from sunday the 7th june next game for dragons is august 1/2 in the welsh super cup if anyone has a mini bus we could hire cheaply please let me know for the weekend of august 1/2
fawt national football festival June 7th 2015
dragons travelled to newton fc for the annual fixture held by the faw trust
dragons were in group a against some strong teams
first game merthyr v Llandudno
this same team has beaten us 3yrs running final score merthyr 0 v Llandudno 0
great team work defence refused to give anytime for other team to attack
second game
merthyr v cardiff blue 6-0
team settled well for our second game defence was like a brick wall once again
josh moore 2
ricky cross 1
sam clark 2
sam williams 1
third game
merthyr v race rovers
2 0
a close game to start off with then sam clark scored 2
fourth game
merthyr v Aberystwyth town
4 2
very strong aber team worked really hard but couldnt compete with the speed and passing from merthyr josh moore/ricky cross/sam williams/johnny jenkins all finding the net for merthyr
fifth game
merthyr v swansea city
3 0
team knew if we lost this game Llandudno would win the group
even though we won 3-0 the match it self told a different story
the swansea players were a very strong side and the sportman ship from the team was outstanding despite the scoreline it was a pleasure to watch from both sides all players well behaved clean tackles even having a few laughs while playing swansea players are a credit to their coaches scorers for merthyr were sam williams /sam clark/ricky cross

that final win saw merthyr into the final against the winners of group b
coed eva
merthyr v coed eva
3 1
both teams wanted this so much that challenges were going in all over the pitch one of the merthyr players needing to be carried off due to a 50/50 tackle merthyr used this to push on to win this game scores were sam williams /sam clark/johnny jenkins
in total 18 goals scored by merthyr and only 3 against all thanks to the strong defensive leadership of Jonathan Evans
