Merthyr Town FC - Mini Football Festival 2012

Invitations are now being accepted to the inaugural mini-football festival, to be held at Penydarren Park, Sunday 29th July 2012. The following age groups are being accomodated:

Under 7's - 4 a side (no goalies) - Max squad size of 7 - Entry cost £20 per team
Under 8's - 5 a side (with goalies) - Max squad size of 7 - Entry cost £20 per team
Under 9's - 6 a side (with goalies) - Max squad size of 10 - Entry cost £25 per team

All games will be played under FAW mini football rules with age groups as per the 2011/12 season.

We are also hosting fixtures for any team interested in entering the:

Girls Under 12's - 11 a-side competition - Entry cost £25 per team

Girls football in the Merthyr community is progressing well, hopefully this will be another step in the right direction to encourage the development of the ladies game in the area.
