merthyr town dl football festival 12/04/2015
it was a great day we would like to thank merthyr town fc for letting us use the venue and to the refs also Scott and the runners for collecting all the results a special thanks goes to Matthew Harris (merthyr town fc) taking time out and coming to support the team thank you Matthew
merthyr played 4 league games results below
merthyr v Newport x2 first game was 3-0 to merthyr goal scorers were Sam Williams /Ricky cross/and josh Moore this would have been a different score without our excellent defender Jonathan Evans
in the second game against Newport merthyr won 5-0 Sam Clark/josh Moore/kerys Roberts/johnny Jenkins/and Ricky cross we also played coed Eva twice winning both games 4-1 and 4-0 Ricky cross+2 Sam Clark-3 Sam Williams-1 and tom yemm-1
the final was against heol ddu both teams put all in to the game which turned out to be a very physical final but merthyr came out winners 2-1 johnny Jenkins-1 again without our excellent defence this could have been a totally different score
