Yes only open date is W/C Mon 1st Sept (If we are not involved in a FA Cup replay!)   

Why can't they have a look at the pitch tomorrow and maybe re-arrange it for tomorrow night,

Nightmare! Games getting postponed in mid August. If ever there should be a big push for the use of 3g pitches.

Yes why not? The pitch will probably be OK tomorrow   

or Wednesday evening, not a lot of rain forecast for Wednesday

Unable to play tomorrow due to Super Cup. Unable to play Wednesday because Barry share the lease of the ground with Athletics club, and they book it every Wednesday. That is why the match was due to be played tonight.

Difficult to arrange this fixture in the first instance, tonight's postponement has turned into a nightmare.

It would be a lot easier all round if the fixture was played at PP as both teams have a packed fixture list in the coming weeks. I'm sure Barry would agree!

Looks like it could be a back to back fixture on a Saturday and Sunday or something? Crazy.

Spot on! Suggested to the Club Sec!! Seems to be a "three strikes" rule before considering moving the fixture.

The second round of the competition is due to take place on 2nd/3rd September, but that date would be OK if there was no objection to being a round behind the rest. The second round game for Merthyr or Barry could then be fitted in before the third round due on 23/24 September.

Only concern is that we play in the FA Cup on 30th August so there's the possibly of a replay being required on 2nd/3rd September at Larkhall.

Gutted about the cancellation. Was quite up for a trip to Jenner park. Hopefully the reschedule won't ptove to be too problematic

Will get the sat nav ready for that one ! gutted original tie p/p will await official confirmation been a few years since I last visited their ground

According to the fixture list on the MTFC website, the Barry game has been re-arranged for Tue 9th Sept, 7.45pm kick-off (7.30pm on the Welsh Premier League website). The Shortwood game, due to be played that night, has been put back three weeks to Tue 30th Sept.
