You can see the match programme online.
Merthyr still without Rhodes, Harris, Kieran Evans and Thomas, injured, and Jack Evans, working, Yakubu returns and is one of four subs Sama into the starting 11 after his recall from Taffs Well,
Smerdon does well to earn a quick corner. At the other end, Fuller, replacing Cogman, pulled off a fine save. Bonthron had a good effort blocked, and later was foiled by a good stop by the keeper. In the second half, Handley hits the post and Rees follows up to see his effort stopped on the line, Sama replaced by Jemett-Hutson.

Re: BRACKNELL V MERTHYR
Another tight contest and another tough one to take, as I thought we were well worth a point at least. Good effort over all and we looked organised from the kick off. Obviously the injured players were badly missed again, as we had to use others out of position. Once again, we found an opposing ‘keeper on top form. The main disappointment, apart from the result is the form of our front line, which hasn’t been disrupted of late, as much as other positions. They’ve had very good chances of getting on the score sheet, but haven’t been clinical enough. That reflects on our last 270 minutes of football, where we’ve failed to hit the net. Hopefully, one or two of the injured party will be in the mix for Saturday’s fixture and we can get something out of that game for a change.

Bracknell v Merthyr
FROM SOUTHERN LEAGUE WEBSITE. Bracknell Town managed to shrug off the disappointment of losing to Altrincham in the Fifth Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy last weekend by beating Merthyr Town on Tuesday night to maintain their play-off push in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South
In a first half largely dominated by the hosts, it was actually Merthyr who came closest to breaking the deadlock 6 minutes before half-time but Robins` keeper Michael Eacott produced a tremendous save to deny Alex Bonthron at the far post.
Just shy of the hour-mark, Bracknell’s Garry Abisogun then cracked a 20-yard effort that struck the inside of the post but somehow stayed out.
The home side finally managed to breakthrough in the 71st minute when Mikel Platt fired home a Jack Dean cross from close range.
Bracknell remain in fourth place and are 15 points behind leaders Weston-super-Mare with two games in hand, while Merthyr, for whom this was a third successive 1-0 defeat, are tenth, nine points behind Poole Town, who also won on Tuesday, and Bracknell.

Bracknell v Merthyr
This was Bracknell's fourth league win in a row and Merthyr's fourth match without a win, Met Police away on Saturday- they are just outside a play-off place.
