Hereford United

Reported today on BBC that Hereford United have been suspended from all football. It seems that they did not comply with requests for further information from the FA.
The beginning of the end for them?

Or the start of a fan owned future.

Seems the majority of Bulls fans are pleased the FA have finally made this decision.

I hope so as someone who has a close affection with the City of Hereford, and many friends who are fans of Hereford United. Many of them can't wait for the club to be liquidated so that they can then form a new fans owned club.

And good luck to them I say. Go for it.

FA lift their suspension of Hereford United.

Hereford United has today been wound up in the High Court.
The registrar Mr Baister made the order at 4.39pm.

Looking at comments on Twitter despite sadness vast majority seem relieved the club has finally been put to rest and are looking forward to a phoenix club rising from the ashes

Shame to hear of a club with such history closing....I hope Hereford United 2 the sequel gets released in time for next Christmas...but Sheep.surely it would a Golden Calf club than a Phoenix one?...Boz
