KRIS LEEK UNAVAILABLE FOR SEASON 15/16

Club have announced that Leeky is unavailable due to work & personal reasons for the coming season, Would like to thank Kris for his outstanding contribution in helping us to get back to the SLP & wish him well for the future & hopefully he will be back in a MTFC shirt in the future.

Let's also hope SJ can bring in a player with proven ability at our level to replace Leeky, but that is going to be a tall order.

Outstanding player will be sadly missed, work as to be his number one priority, nice lad,100% player wish him well for the future

Yes, very bad news. As KPT says, let's hope the right type of player can be brought in as a replacement. One who might fit the bill is Ryan Newman - I wonder if there's any chance?

With all due respect to the rest of the squad this is a massive loss to the team, with Gavin out injured too that's two big players that will need quality replacements

It's a real shame Leeky can't commit for this season but it's totally understandable and I wish him well and also thank him for what he's done for us.  As Jamie said his goal at Bridgy was outstanding and typifies what he is capable of.  He's a bundle of energy, a good tackler, can run with the ball and has a ferocious shot.

He will be a hard act to follow but we have signed 2 excellent midfielders already in Ashley Evans who is a superb defensive midfielder and Kyle Patten who got better every game he played for us last season and with a good preseason under his belt and regular football the best of him is yet to come.  We also have Matthew, Evo & Bauza so all is not lost.

What a quality plyer to lose but wish him all the best.also heard that the left back adam is leaving to anybody know anything?

I recently heard about Adam Davies leaving for a holiday abroad, but nothing about him leaving the club.

pity this.
quality player who added energy and hardness to the middle.

ryan newman would be a great addition.
i reckon getting kyle is a superb signing who will have a good season i reckon.

What a talent that boy Leek is....I wish I had half of his energy and drive and a quarter of his skill....but in true balance there is another opportunity for our midfield talent to grasp with both hands.....it is hard to replace such excellence but fully understand that work must come before pleasure as pleasure doesn't pay the bills.....hope Leeky excels in work and gets itchy feet to return for next season.....Boz
