Does anyone know the situation with Kris Leek ahead of the new season, I over heard during the Abergavenny game that he is set to miss a lot of games this season due to work commitments

He did very well last season and played in more games than anybody else except Ian Traylor, but I seem to remember the season before he did miss several games then due to work commitments,

I have heard the same, Jak. Of course, he was out of football for virtually a full season a while ago before he returned to Merthyr- and that was through work commitments.

Should be no problem with continental shifts swap your afternoon shifts for nights finish off on nights go straight on team bus get off team bus straight to work.Ask Chris Hollvey he done it for years when he played for us.

Agree, work must take priority.

Kris is an excellent player-always gives 110%, let's hope he is able to play as much as his work situation allows.

For your information, Leekie was at training yesterday and was getting ready to play in the 2nd half against the supporters team when I left. If you recall Leekie had half a season off a few years ago when work got in the way and I'm sure that is the case this time. If he had any intention of going elsewhere he would be man enough to tell us and not use the "work" excuse.

My point exactly, Kris is a very dedicated player and certainly would not use work as an excuse not to play for us.
