Merthyr Town v Hendon
Hendon will be desperate for points as they are just above the drop zone but on the same number of points and games played as Harrow who are just below them.
Merthyr have four games left at home and it would be good to boost their playing record at the Met Coaches Stadium (Penydarren Park). They are also to play Yate Town who are not looking too good as far as staying up after losing EIGHT games in a row.

The martyrs lost 2-1 at home to Hendon conceding a goal in the final minutes
Hendon were a strong robust side and unfortunately we were to short in stature to compete with them in the penalty box
I would have brought on Zak to provide that extra height but perhaps he is not fully fit

Re: Merthyr Town v Hendon
We’ve had many enforced changes in the central defensive area this season, but that doesn’t hide the fact that, our home form has been inexcusable on far too many occasions, hence that record of 10 home league defeats. During those games, not finding the target at the other end hasn’t helped and put the both together, it becomes an uphill task on its own. Around the remainder of the park, there have been many positives, but perhaps stating the obvious, our priorities for next season’s squad additions must be, a central defender and a centre forward, both with credibility. I’m sure the management team realise this and will be aiming to address the issues when the time is right and we’ll have far more balance within the team.
