Board Statement - A Further Progress Update
A big thank you to everyone for their support and understanding during this crisis, we can hopefully manage with all of your help, but most importantly everyone must stay safe.
We are extremely grateful to all of our supporters who continue to make voluntary donations and purchase Soccalot tickets, for this contribution to Club funds. This injection of cash will help us, although there has been limited income generated in the past seven days, we have been able to agree to defer monthly payments to a former employee for which we are extremely grateful for their very kind co-operation.
The Board continue to take a structured approach to managing our finances and we update the financial profiling that we are using on a weekly basis to ensure that the meagre funds that we have don’t run out.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board have requested the use of the Club’s facilities to train 20 of their doctors to help in the fight against COVID-19 and we are only too pleased to help. The Board have also discussed offering the use of the Club’s car park as a testing station, although access through Park Terrace would be an issue if the volume of vehicles required to use the testing station increased considerably. This thought is still being debated.
