clubs in trouble

Nuneaton Borough have resigned from the Southern League with immediate effect.
Taunton Town of National League South, who lost to Merthyr in a FA Cup replay, have been issued with a winding up order by HMRC over unpaid PAYE. If it is not paid, the club could be liquidated.

As Merthyr Town would say, been there bought the t-shirt.

Always disappointing to hear of non-league clubs facing extinction.

Once again this magnifies the tremendous job our current and past Boards have done to stabilise our Club using Progress through stability measures and of course the tacit assistance from the local Authority and others in political power who support our club.

A feather in our cap whilst others are spitting feathers.
