MERTHYR V WEYMOUTH NOW 100% OFF

I have now been informed by the club secretary that the game against Weymouth on Tuesday 18 Dec is definitely postponed.

The sequence of events, as far as i am aware, is as follows;

When Weymouth's FA trophy game against Needham Market was called off on Saturday, the assumption was that the game would be rescheduled for tomorrow evening, causing our game to be called off.

From Saturday evening there was some doubt because Needham Market were trying to re arrange the game for a different date, but on Sunday afternoon the FA trophy game was confirmed as going ahead, and our game was postponed.

Then, according to the Weymouth website, Needham Market withdrew from the FA Trophy so the game was called off and we told to proceed with our league fixture.

That decision has now been reversed and there is definitely no game at Penydarren Park on Tuesday 18 Dec.

Hope it's not re-arranged for Tuesday 19th Jan 2019. As that could be a replay date for Weymouth v Ramsbottom.
