Traylor scored from the only real chance that we created in the first half as Swansea kept possession well and denied us any attacking threat.

We demonstrated more determination after the break and caused problems through new left back Chris Hugh, substitute Jay Bowen and Kerry Morgan.

Plenty of competition for places but it's still very early in the build up to the start of the season.

Any idea on what the attendance was today?

According to WalesOnLine, Chris Hugh scored our second goal.

jacks dominated the first half , second half we looked a very good.

Not from me, Cliff, as I was sans Dickyphone and my memory ain't what it was.

I missed the first goal (turnstile duties) and from what I saw of the first half, Swansea had much more of the play and probably deserved to be ahead at the break. They scored one where Clarke got his hand to a shot across goal but only managed to deflect it into the roof of the net. They should have got a second when the referee blew for a free kick to the Jacks outside our 18 yard area just as one of their players blasted a shot past Clarke giving him no chance.

We looked a bit better in the 2nd half after the half time changes and Hugh looked very good on the left and his cross totally deceived the Jack keeper who came out anticipating a cross onto the 6 yard line and as it arrowed towards goal he changed direction but could only help it into his own net. Kerry scored our 3rd with an excellent shot across the keeper after a good run by Bowen who was brought down as he passed to Kerry. It was interesting to see the ref look very closely at that incident and I wonder if had Kerry missed would he have brought the game back for a free kick. I think after that similar incident in the first half the Jacks would have been very annoyed indeed!

It was a good game, as it usually is against the Swans u21's and both sides were competitive with some good (and some not so good) hard tackles going in. Some of the trialists look very decent but it's likely that not all will remain when the season starts in August. I was very impressed by Chris Hugh who as well as his goal was also very quick in defence and it will be interesting to see the full back line up for our first game. Matthew & Kyle did well in the middle as did Ashley but we did miss the barnstorming runs of Kris Leek but overall it was a very satisfying performance and bodes well for the future.

Good to see Huw Jenkins at the game , a great result for the lads against a quality opposition, and a very competitive "friendly " with good football played by both teams .

Thought our number 14 looked decent on the ball. A good game though. Some mad tackles going in for a pre season game mind!
