Re: Pre-Season Friendly
Hereford FC Club Secretary, Martin Watson told Bulls News:
‘We’re particularly pleased to make the commitment to travel to Merthyr.
‘Many people involved at Pennydarren Park have been a fantastic source of information for us as we have gone through the process of setting up our club and we were very keen to organise a game against them as a mark of our gratitude and to cement the bond between the two clubs.
‘The match is likely to see us reunited with a number of old friends and we also look forward to congratulating Merthyr properly on winning the Southern League South and West Division this season.’

They won't know until the allocations are made by the FA in the Summer.

Re: Pre-Season Friendly
By rights they should be at the level below our current one, which it's said in their case would be what's now called the Midland Football League. But they're hoping to persuade the FA to put them in Southern League Division One South & West.

Pre season
Wouldn,t it be nice to have a game with Taffs Well. We have played AFC Porth a couple of times who are of the same standard and share the gate receipts, after all where would we be now?.

Aberdare Town would be nice. Jack Howe and Luke Jones are playing for them now, I'm led to believe.

I should have amplified that I've always thought it would be nice to have an annual away friendly with Taffs Well in recognition of them hosting us for that season.

Re: Pre-Season Friendly
Luke Jones is a decent player but carnt see him playing in mid field over players that are there now and no doubt Steve Jenkins will bring in new players.
