ITV to visit the Cigg-e
It is with great pleasure that we announce that ITV Wales have confirmed that they will be filming at the Cigg-e Stadium on the last game of the season against Stratford Town on the 25th of April. There will be several cameras at Penydarren Park filming for a special piece on the club that will be aired on Monday 27th April on the ITV Wales News.
There will be various pieces being filmed, including shots of the game (in which the first team will be wearing next season’s brand new kit), the presentation of the league trophy, interviews with club and team officials and shots of the amazing Merthyr Town FC fans.
To celebrate the recent league triumph, we have LIMITED EDITION “Champions T-Shirts”, LIMITED EDITION “Champions Scarves”, LIMITED EDITION “Champions Car Scarves” and LIMITED EDITION “Champions Mugs” all available from Liam Toomey on 07557447978 prior to the remaining two home games, or alternatively, outside the front of the club on match days against Larkhall and Stratford, but once they’re gone, they’re gone!
The ITV Wales cameras will be focusing on those fans wearing the Championship merchandise so to get your face on TV, make sure you buy and wear your Champions t-shirts, wave your Champions scarves and make some NOISE.

That's a bit naughty wearing next seasons kit, surely we should finish it in this seasons kit.

With the television camera present and coverage on the Welsh news, have the main sponsors for 2015/16 been secured if we are planning to use next seasons kit?

Don't know, to be honest, Rob but the new kit is on display behind the bar in the Candac and has the TCW logo on the front & Mikerry Rail on the back. A word of warning to those with a "fuller figure" I would recommend opting for a size larger than you may have bought in previous seasons. Maybe it's due to the difference in size of the Italian & German beer guts!
