George Barnes

It is with great sadness that I report life long Merthyr supporter George Barnes passed away last Wednesday night (4th February 2015). George had been suffering ill health for some time but always looked for Merthyr's results and will be sorely missed on the terraces at Penydarren Park.
My condolences go to Lindsey-Anne, Gavin and all the family.
Rest in peace George!

A beautiful celebration of Dad's life will take place at 1.15pm on Monday 23rd February at St Tydfil's Parish Church, Merthyr, then at 2.15pm at Llwydcoed Crematorium. This will be followed by a buffet and a chance to reminisce and laugh, sharing our fond happy memories of Dad at The Mountain Ash Inn Twynyrodyn.
We ask for family flowers only please but any donations on the day to Mesothelioma UK will be warmly welcomed.
