Looks like an away tie then, but you never know?

May I revise my forecast of a draw and go for a Swindon Supermarine win?

Our hopes of third slot are no longer in our hands, unfortunately.

You get what you deserve sometimes.... 5 1 sounds a thumping but given that we got a draw with nine men....think how many Marcus could have got if we a full compliment....I hope delia at Swindon Supermarine has plenty of cake mix ready for a hungry Merthyr crowd....boz

So to sum up, I make it that to finsh 3rd we've got to win at Yate and hope Swindon don't beat Clevedon. Or a draw would do if Swindon lost

If Hungerford lost at Cinderford and Swindon won they could still finish 2nd

So that leaves 3 possibilities for next week, in order of likelihood:

1. Away v Swindon on Wednesday
2. Home v Swindon on Tuesday
3. Away v Hungerford on Monday

with one game left to play

2nd Hungerford 84pts GD 28
3rd Swindon SM 81pts GD 29
4th Merthyr T 80pts GD 43

And there is always the twist in the tail....joe perry in goal for clevedon .....another martyr perhaps....I don't mind if we play Swindon at home as long as they can sell their cakes from the team bus.....boz

Cinderford lost 1-0 to Winchester tonight, looks like Swindon SM away on Wednesday night!!

You never know what's going to happen in football but it looks very likely that a trip to Swindon Supermarine is on the cards.
