In the last four seasons the team in the final play-off place has finished the campaign with 71 pts (11/12), 67 pts (10/11), 78 pts (09/10) and 73 pts (08/09).

The team that has eventually been promoted through the play-offs has finished the regular season in 3rd place (11/12), 4th place (10/11), 5th place (09/10) and 5th place in (08/09).

Interestingly, all of the teams promoted through the play-offs in the last four years have won the final game away from home!

We currently have 59 points with 12 games left and my guess is that at this point we will possibly need between 18 and 20 points to guarantee a place in the play offs.
