George Beattie dies Empty George Beattie dies

George Beattie, father of former Merthyr Tydfil midfielder and manager Andy Beattie, has died, aged 86.
Born in Aberdeen, he played as a striker for Newport County.I am sure Merthyr fans extend sympathy to his widow and family.

George Beattie's funeral is at St Woolas Cathedral in Newport on Monday at 1pm
