It's a blow to Bishop Sutton who are now seven points behind Hallen, both having played 25 games.
The Martyrs are five points behind Hallen but with two matches in hand and Merthyr are in the same situation with regards to Bitton.
I hope no-one defects to the rugby game on Saturday to see that "fast-flowing" game of lines-out, scrums, penalties, long waits for the conversion bid and a few minutes delay to determine whether a try was scored or not. All that usually means the ball is in play for about 20 minutes!!
