Police to investigate

Merthyr Board of directors thank the supporters who have submitted documents and information following the alleged racist comment raised by a Hungerford player during Monday's match. They will continue to receive any further details from fans but the matter has now been referred to South Wales Police and Thames Valley Police. The Hungerford player will be questioned and possibly other Hungerford Town representatives. Merthyr Town say they will co-operate with the police in their investigation.
