Merthyr will be hoping for the double on Saturday after a 2-1 win in Salisbury in September.
Merthyr are eighth in the table, four spots above the visitors. And the Martyrs' recent form suggests they are eyeing a spot in the play-offs.
They kept a clean sheet at the weekend with a 0-0 draw against Truro with the defence seeming more settled lately.
They have more options in attack now as well, so they will be hoping to overcome Salisbury who have conceded more goals than they have netted,
Salisbury manager Brian Dutton took over from Steve Claridge last September, He had a spell with Cambridge United but otherwise as a player was always at non-league level. He played for 11 clubs but turned out 167 times for Salisbury in two spells In recent years he was a coach at Bristol Rovers. His father jockey Dave Dutton won the Scottish Grand National in 1981.

The 1981 race was won by Astral Charmer with John Goulding on board - one of the most amazing races ever. Dave Dutton's win was the following year, on Cockle Strand.
