I do not know what match barneyboy was watching to call it crap and diabolical.we should have won by a hatful obviously the gods were looking over them.i enjoyed what was a nailbiting and tense game .well done lads for the 100 percent effort

Absolutely, Scamp. Yes, we should have scored a lot more goals but we got a well needed and much deserved win.

I did say we should have scored a hatful. But that does not make them crap and diabolical despite this all the supporters leaving the ground who I spoke to enjoyed the game.

Spot on, Even if we hadn't won today we created loads of chances unlike the dire Bishop Stortford game.

Missed today's game because I am visiting family in the Isle of Man, where St George's, who have won the league ten years in succession, recently won 14-0 away from home. Genuine football fans here would kill for a close encounter where (I'm only guessing) Royston turned up and made it as difficult as possible for our lads.

Sitting in The Bay Hotel, Port Erin, the afternoon was more exciting tracking the Martyrs' progress by text than watching a live Isle of Man League fixture.
