Bristol-based football scout Rod Vickery who keeps an eye on Merthyr opponents and runs the rule over players, informs Merthyr fans of the death of Bath City Chief Scout Roy Pitman.
Mr Pitman often visited Penydarren Park and enjoyed the games at Merthyr. His passing will be a blow to all at Bath City and football in the area.
