Evesham might fancy their chances of catching Taunton in 2nd place with that home game against them.

Taunton also have a Somerset Premier Cup Quarter Final against Frome on Tue 24th March.
The winner of that game will play Paulton away on the 31st March.
So hopefully a fixture pile up will cause Taunton to explode as Tiverton did last year.

Given our postion now,we need to focus on OUR games and what WE have to do to seal the League title,and not concern ourselves with the other teams have to do or who they are playing.

Baisc maths are as things stand at the moment Taunton can only get a maximum of 96points . so WE need to get 18 points from a possible 27 to win the league.

I agree with you. The title is in our own hands. Six wins or five wins and a draw is what we need, no matter what any of the other team's results are.

A win for us and defeat for Taunton will leave us 13 points clear and we'll only need 12 points from our 8 remaining games.

In all honesty, we'll all have an eye on the Cinderford/Taunton game as well as ours against Bridgwater on Tuesday.
