CONGRATULATIONS
If Steve Williams is fit after coming off against Didcot on Saturday and is chosen for Tuesday nights game at Shortwood he will reach a milestone in the history of the Club. The game against Shortwood will be Steve's 400th game for the Martyrs. A truly remarkable achievement and indicates what a terrific Clubman Steve has been over the years. Many Many congratulations Steve you richly deserve it.
Steve made his first competitive appearance for the Club on August 14th 2004, in a nil-nil draw at Stamford in the Southern League Premier Division alongside Gary Shepard, Danny Carter and Paul Keddle.

He was working on a roof in sunny Pant last week and seemed to be climbing ladders & jumping around on the roof OK. He told me that he still has a small hole in one of the bones in his leg but it's healing quickly and as Meurig says, he hopes to be back in training in a week or so.
He did speak to me on terra firma as I certainly wouldn't join him on the roof!
