A sad day for a club which used to be in The Southern League. And it's another blow for The Welsh Premiership after losing over the years Ebbw Vale, Rhyl (because of domestic licence issues) and Neath.
Merthyr Tydfil used to have competitive games with Llanelli in the S League and in The FA Cup at the old Stebonheath ground. The present stadium is well-appointed and one of the better ones in the WP I would estimate.000000
