I seem to remember that Tommy Owen was a cultured wing-half - he deserves a mention.

Tommy Owen is going back a bit!
I think somebody told me that John Wakeham has some involvement with Southampton Football Club (possibly the youth team). I did see him recently at a funeral but did not have chance to speak to him.
Colin Crotty was, in fact, a striker, playing for Merthyr in the late 1960s. You may spot him now looking after the trolleys at Tesco, Merthyr, and he lives in Pentrebach.
