FT Gospprt Borough 2 Merthyr Town 1. So that's one win and three losses from four games and a trip to league leaders Chesham United on Tuesday. Can Merthyr finish the season in the play-offs. And Gosport have two games in hand over Merthyr.

Couldn’t make the game today, so dependant on updates. We seemed to be in control first half, but I had that feeling that, missed chances may cost us and unfortunately, that came true again. It was nice to see an addition to the squad in midweek, but we should have added in a few more areas, if we are serious contenders for promotIon. Paul Michael did state that, the games against Gosport and Chesham will show where we really are. We’ve got another chance on Tuesday, which now becomes a must win, in my opinion. If we don’t get anything there, I think we’ll struggle to retain a play off spot. Chesham, although top of the league, have added three more to their squad during the transfer window. If only?

Reports say that Merthyr were well on top in the first balf but should have scored more than once. Gosport have two games in hand over Merthyr. Hungerford are sixth and then there is a six point gap up to Bracknell who come to the Park next Saturday.  Two wins  from two games would be great! The current struggle suggests we might scrape into the last play-off spot!
No Rhodes or Angel today. Yorwerth came on as a sub.
