HANWELL COME TO MERTHYR

Hanwell will come to Merthyr Town on Saturday (3pm start) perilously close to the drop zone with just one point from five games compared to Merthyr's nine. But Sam Evans is their deadly striker with 14 goals this term, the same as Merthyr's Ricardo Rees.
The "Geordies" set up the club in 1920 as a large number of Newcastle folk were in the area, but they currently play at Perivale.
Martyrs, in fourth spot, will have two fewer players to choose from, Lewis Powell and Tom Hillman having departed this week.
