Long serving Club Captain, Matty Harris, made his 300th appearance (28 goals) for Merthyr Town (not including Merthyr Tydfil) in yesterday's 3-2 win @ Walton & Hersham.

For the record (at least according to mine), he made 92 appearances and scored 11 goals for Merthyr Tydfil FC.

So not far short of 400 overall.

And hopefully we will recognise this achievement on his 400th. Imagine how many games he would have played for us without the injuries he has suffered during his career with us. He is another one who will go down as a Merthyr legend!

I concur with you Imp. Matty's total across both Merthyr clubs currently stands at 392 appearances with 39 goals scored.
