Jack Evans has played his last game for the club, is moving away and might be playing there, Paul Michael said after today's game, and paid tribute to him, adding they might see him in a Merthyr shirt again some time,
Joe Keeping has gone to Lydney to get some games  time. Nye Livermore had been ill this  week and Liam Angel  was working today. Ismail Yakubu was praised by Michael  for helping with coaching and encouragement and was there when needed but eager to play again had signed for Cinderford,

Thanks Tim for the info. Big shoes to fill with regards to the Jack Evans departure. I think someone mentioned his disapproval on being subbed last game and had a few words with Paul, but I think that was just out of frustration more than anything else, otherwise he wouldn’t have shown today. Paul also mentioned, that disappointingly, Jack wouldn’t be available for the majority of games to come. Maybe work commitments dictate? He did have pre-season trials at Taunton, so it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up. We have seen that during his time with us, even with his work commitments, he has literally gone the extra mile. When we played Harrow (away) last season, he flew back from France in the morning, got picked up by a club member just to play for the club. Best of luck to him and Yak. Thanks to them both for their services. A welcomed 3 points today, which keeps us in the mix.

Jack Evans is moving to Leeds. He is the personal trainer to Welsh international Joe Rodon and they were together at Swansea City.

Just wondering if he’ll be replaced any time soon? Livermore would be next in line, but he has been ill and has missed a number of games recently.The other midfielder Tom Stokes hasn’t been in the match day squad for a while. I foresee Matthew Harris filling in.
