No 2 Andrew Smith commented afterwards to the club's media that the game summed up their season, scored a lot of goals but conceded far too many.In spells were briliant, played really good football, but in nine minutes were "a little bit soft-bellied" and conceded goals. "But to win away from hone- we want to finish as high up the table, so it was a good win," They worked on training to be more clinical in the final third. "Mixed feelings, we did well but could do better."
He added "When you go 3-0, 4-0 up the game is won." The game was never in any doubt. They were happy to play on the Friday to give the players extra time before Monday and there were a few players carrying knocks. Yate have their game on Saturday.
