Merthyr v North Leigh
The visitors have shown improved form recently and have not given up the fight to stay in the Premier Division but they were affected by some injuries during the week.
Martyrs boss Paul Michael said that Merthyr faced a tough few weeks with long trips away on Tuesday nights. and they needed the whole squad as some players can't make long Tuesday journeys because of work.
Jaimie Cogman and Liam Angel will be available tomorrow but weren't for last Saturday. Angel is likely to miss out on Tuesday for the game at Harrow Borough. Nick Rhodes trained last night, Matthew Harris and Kieran Evans may still be a week away from fitness. Michael looks forward to seeing the two new players fitting into the squad,

Merthyr lose to bottom club North Leigh by 3-0 and Lewis Powell fails with a late penalty.
Play-offs ??? £1 admission offer for those on JSA but gate goes down from last game- 594. Gate for Chesham was 647.
This was The Martyrs' NINTH home league defeat this season!

Sadly a lot of chopping and changing sadly due to injuries or work.
Sadly we can’t keep losing these home games otherwise it’s back to 300/400 crowds or less.

Three home defeats in a row, no goals scored, and spot-kicks missed. Five home matches left.
