ON THE MOVE

Striker Alex Bonthron has rejoined Cwmbran Celtic on a short-term loan  agreement so that he can play for them tomorrow  against TNS in the JD Welsh Cup quarter final. Merthyr agreed after Cwmbran management noticed Bronthon had  only  been on the bench for Merthyr in recent games.It  was a "no brainer" for him to play for Celtic  "when he would  have  been on the bench for us this weekend,"   said Merthyr boss Paul  Michael. He   can be recalled by  Merthyr and will play an important role in the season's  run-in, he added. Bonthron will continue to train with Merthyr, He scored his first goal for Merthyr in a practice game at Merthyr on Tuesday behind closed doors.
