U19s win away at Llanelli

The u19s continued their recent good run with a hard earned league victory over Llanelli at Stebonheath tonight. Merthyr's goals came from Joe Leahy either side of half time; the first with a powerful header from a Lewis Hitchcock corner, and the second a delicate chip over the keeper after a clever through ball from MOTM Joe Jenkins. Llanelli also had a missed penalty in the final minutes of the game with the striker firing over Mike Ley's crossbar.

A deserved victory and a superb team effort.

The u19s now face Aberaman in League Cup action this Sunday, 2pm kick off at Penydarren Park.
