He's only a year or so younger than me. Remember playing against him a couple of times in 5-a-side at Rhydcar. Remember one occasion I was in goal and he launched a shot (think Chrissy Baird against Atalanta)... - thankfully I got out of the way in time, or I'd still be in orbit!

Not really friendly (you know how folk come and go in 5-a-sides), so lost what little touch we had (no mobile phones or social media in those days!) Then, when I first moved up to the Midlands, went to a Blues game with some friends. Who was leading the line? - none other than Mr Rees! Have to say he'd put on a few pounds & didn't exactly have a great game. To this day I'm sure said friends don't believe I'd played with/against him!

Talking about age, I notice you can't sign up if you are 100 or over (hence why I'm 99!). Is that why Wanderin' doesn't seem to have joined?!!

Mentioned in the programme about the big improvemment in Devizes Town recently, they beat Hengrove 5-1 last night in the league cup!
