Peter Harman
Just heard of the sudden passing of one-time Merthyr Photographer and Martyrs stalwart Peter Harman.
Didn't always see eye to eye with him, however would not held a grudge, and could never doubt his commitment and passion for the Town and club. So sad to see the passing of another of the old guard. Rest easy. And condolences to the family.

Sad news indeed. Examples of Peter's work would form a wonderful illustrated chronicle of the club's history over a good few years, and provide an excellent tribute to him. Condolences to his family.

Only now noticing the sad news about Peter.
I always had the utmost respect for the man.
Honest as a day was long, and a true Martyr.
Loved his photography and was the brother-in-law of the former Council Treasurer Bill Thomas.
Last saw him up the retail park few months back and he had lost so much weight I didn’t recognise him.
But glad I took the time to talk to him and make him smile.
He will be missed.
A hope one of his iconic photographs ( perhaps the one of Ryan Green as Commodus the Gladiator ) can be placed at the Club in his memory.
