Met Police v Merthyr
FT Met Police 1 Merthyr Town 2
Amazing scenes as sub Corey Jenkins hits a 90th minute winner with a deflected shot.
Both teams were pressing hard for a winner in the late stages.
Gethyn Hill made his league debut after injury, returning to come off the bench for Tom Meechan early in the second half.

PC Correct
What an outstanding away win .
I hope one of our number has noted everything in their pocket notebook, so on Civvy Street can read the PC version.

Officers don't have pocket books now, they have smart books. Awaiting your reply.

Next thing Ownes, you will be telling me that they have retired the ‘mammary’ headgear and police dogs no longer have any teeth.

Taken from Met Police website
Blues 1-2 Merthyr Town - By James Macpherson
The Martyrs made a long journey to Imber court, both these teams had a good victory over the bank holiday weekend.
The home side made a positive start in a good run by Sayoud who produced a pass to Robertson who just tucked the ball away
The visitors failed to give up as they stuck to their game plan and claimed a deserved goal after a few body feints in the box led the ball to an unmarked Jarrad Wright who buried home from a couple of yards.
Merthyr continued to cause problems through creativity on the flanks leaving blues completely exposed, however, the visitors failed to put the chances away.
Half time: Met police 1-1 Merthyr Town
The visitors started the second half brightly after a tricky bit of skill from Traylor gave him an open shot from the edge of the box that was tipped aside by Burns.
The blues created their first real opportunity after Sayoud was played through and had his shot cleared off the line.
The martyrs were forced into some top defending after Mazzone had a shot stopped by Harris and new loanee Assal had his clear rebound blocked.
The visitors put smiles on the travelling fans faces after Traylor bursts away through the run of play and played it to Corey Jenkins who had his deflected shot fly high in the net.
Full time: Met police 1-2 Merthyr Town
Match rating 4/5
