A name from the past

Probably few readers of this forum do not realise that the last and remaining defendant in the jeremy thorpe case which has made headlines in the press lately also had strong links with the martyrs. George Deakin who supplied the club with gaming machines in by gone days helped keep the club alive and few people do not realise how his personnel contributions helped to keep us going when we were in dire straits.l am surprised he is still alive and only living a stone throw away in port talbot.Anyway thank you George for your contributions at the time a true gentleman
