Keyon Reffell's Departure Empty Keyon Reffell's Departure

Unfortunately, because Hereford have a fan base around five times larger than any other Southern League Club, they will have the resources to cherry-pick the players they want from surrounding clubs at our level or even several steps above.
I'm sorry that Keyon has gone - he was not always as strong in the air or in the tackle as I would have liked but nevertheless a stylish and creative player whose influence was probably greater than his goal tally would suggest. I wish him well.

I liked Keyon, thought he was a skilful player. However, I don't think he will be missed too much. As a forward or attacking midfielder I don't think he scored enough goals. I think he only scored two league games all of last season and they both came in the same game!
I'm sure Gavin will find an adequate replacement.

Shame to see a talent like that depart but late last season he had another child and the added expense that goes with that.

I wish him every luck except of course against us.

Let's hope the vacancy is filled as soon as possible and the midfield area is given the precedence it deserves.

The glaring absence of a driving midfielder of the Leek/Newman stamp plagued us all season.

Who knows what talent the South Wales Valleys hold for 2018?

Whatever else... I want players who want to play for our Club first and foremost.

Hopefully Matty Harris will come back into the team fully fit and ready for the season

Following barrow supposedly departure this is going to be a big blow.we are never going to compete with Hereford and they are going to try and sign our best players so let us hope they do it quick so gavin can start to assemble a squad

Quality player thought he was anonymous second half the season though, we have quality at the club, think Elliot Richards has shown tremendous quality, also bull, Compton and Copp have all stepped up when asked, Matthew Harris to come back as well. A few followed Jenko 2 years ago majority came back.
It's the nature of the club and the league, unfortunately.

As with all pre season, players come and go for various reasons. I remember Gary Shepard quoting one year, during trials sometimes the players who come are better than the ones going out.
