open the box
Can anyone shed light on the winning ticket for this weeks open the box, I thought information regarding the winning ticket was given at 5 o'clock ? no one came in the bar on Saturday with info
I was the only on in my group to buy a ticket the lads won't buy them because of the lack of information on match day.

Re: open the box
So where was the box ,when this started it was brought into the bar
at 5 pm so we could see if someone was lucky, why have we stopped
doing this, also lots of us are inside the club halftime watching
the half time results,so don't hear the announcement,we check the 50\50
results when the notice is posted in the bar
could we not do the same with the open the box
result?.

Re: open the box
Hi Doug,
This week's winning ticket was 0429 and it remains unclaimed.
In the first few weeks of Open the Box a lot of people mentioned that they wouldn't be here after the game for the draw, hence why we changed the draw to half time.
The winning ticket is picked out at half time by the referee and the winning number is handed straight to Wayne Harman to announce over the tannoy.
Posters are also put up in the bar, at the top of the stairs and the café, showing the winning ticket number. I've taken a photo of the one at the top of the stairs for you to familiarise yourself with it.
The only reason why the opening of the box hasn't been done in the Candac for a while is simply because the winning tickets holder has come into the sponsors room to claim their prize.
Every attempt to open the box is and will continue to be witnessed by various different people each week.
Hope this clears everything up.
