With today's defeat Taunton will be sweating on finishing as high as second now, never mind catching us. Stratford must have a chance of second place too, as although they have twice as many away games to play as at home all their remaining fixtures appear pretty easy ones (except the last one!).
It may have gone unnoticed but today's win ensured at least a play-off place for us.

They are 6 points behind Larkhall, with the same number of games remaining. Stratford are one point further ahead with an additional game in hand. Its doable I agree, however would take a massive effort.

By my quick calculations - and it took me 4 goes to get my O level maths - I reckon we need 9 points from our last 7 games to be mathematically certain of the title. 8 would probably do with our goal difference. I am open to correction!
We must bear in mind we need to keep ahead, points wise, of Kettering in the Central Division to ensure we have a home championship fixture against them on 2 May.
