It seems pointless to me to have 2 forums going and is confusing for the likes of me. I thought JM had taken the old one down. We need to have just the one (Mrs Wembley) - which one should it be?

As this forum is the one linked to from the club's website my feeling is that it should be this one.

I've now posted a link on the old forum to this one - Rich (or one of the Admins) - can you make it the first "sticky" please (andi ideally highlight it).

It seems that by use /viewtopic.php surrfix Solihull has been able to enter the old forum though the back door so to say. It is because he bookmark the board in his bookmarks instead of the index page this back door has now been closed.

Is it possible to update the google and yahoo search engines so we are directed straight to the new merthyr town and forum websites instead of the defunct sites

I am doing the new website. I haven't got access to the co.uk domain, and have bought a new .com domain, but it wont be live for at least 24/48 hours. the co.uk bit is coming from my afan lido website which I set up for the purpose of taking on the new MTFC site as a trial run, I will be transferring the files to the domain when I get full access to it.

I assume you have the backing of j mack and co who have set upthe present website as it is getting more confusing by the day.we will other merthyr town websites appearing all over the place one website please for merthyr town and one for the forum

As Scamp says, I don't think we need more than one.

Jamie wants to notify a few org's before naming the new site as official, so it will be a few days? before things pan out. There is a link to this forum on the new site to access it.

The old website will be removed. We were going to continue with the other website while looked to getting a new one. Fortunately Paddymartyr kindly volunteered his services, for which I am very grateful.

I have been in contact with paddymartyr and have already sent him some match photos to start putting on his website, I will be sort out the rest of them and anything that he may be able to use and sending that on to him. If there was anything on the my old site that anyone thinks he could use Please send me a message and I will pass it on to paddymartyr

Whilst like everyone else its a bit disruptive with all the website/forum changes (it looks like now the team is settled all the problems are in cyberspace!), I think we should just be grateful there are fans who are willing to take on the role.
