Gary Colborne

A couple of comments on Mangotsfield's fan forum following their 1-0 defeat at Evesham yesterday:

'With regards to Colborne, whilst at Evesham I was told that he has been told to lose weight, whether or not this explains his absence yesterday I don't know.'

'Just hearing that Gary Colborne was released last week. If so (as nothing on official website) it seems a shame as at his best he is a decent player at this level and is also a decent bloke.'

We can scotch rumours that Gary Colborne has been released by the club. Following a long conversation with him, Gary has admitted that he has not been playing well and he needs to improve his fitness.
Consequently he has agreed to go away for a few weeks and embark on a fitness regime. The ball is definitely in Gary's court and we look forward to seeing him again.

Hope he gets back to fitness soon.  He certainly had a good game against us a few weeks ago.
