Westbury down to 10 after the centre forward put a poor tackle in on Perry. Hosts putting it about most of the evening.

Brilliant, 21 points clear now. We could clinch the title next Saturday at Hengrove Athletic, see you all there.

Thanks for the updates.
Good to see Ryan Dorrian got a goal.
7 wins in a row now - must be certainties for Manager of the Month and Clean Sheet awards for March.
According to my calculations, we could be promoted tomorrow on goal difference if Bridport lose at home to Melksham and Cadbury Heath fail to beat Elmore at home (unlikely).

Looking at the table Cadbury Heath have a great chance of second spot now.

Bridport won 1-0, Cadbury Heath won 3-2 and Oldland won 5-2 today, so a win at Hengrove this coming Saturday 2 April will clinch promotion, then another win on the 9th at home will clinch the title.

Re: Westbury v MERTHYR
It was a hard game last night with Westbury leaving their foot in at every opportunity. However the boys didn't buckle and fully deserved the win. In the first half we rarely tested their keeper as the home defence stopped us getting too close with some debatable tackles and it wasn't until the last 10 minutes we created chances.
The second half started off as the first ended but we continued to be frustrated. Things took a turn for the better when Scotty came on for Leigh Smith and we missed a few good chances - notably Steino who missed with a point blank header after a superb run and cross by Scott. Kris Leek almost snapped the bar with a tremendous shot from about 20 yards and whilst the bar was still shaking we failed to capitalise from the rebound. Joe Perry was caught in the mush after another poor challenge by a Westbury player who was sent off and shortly after that Dozza scored our 100th goal of the season with a tap in from a yard after Westbury failed to clear a corner. Steino did really well with a run on the left hand side of the area and slotted a good shot passed the keeper at his near post. That was that and the game ended with us worthy winners.
It was great to see Dozza score our first - apparently it's his first in 4 years - and he was certainly our star player of the night. Two more wins and we're home and dry.

Yeah a good win which we almost made hard work for ourselfs..
I never thought that Westbury would win the game as they hardly troubled us for 90minutes, but we did miss a few golden chances, and their keeper made a few good saves.
We hardly played any football first half, but when we came out second half we got it down and started to cause Westbury far more problems.
I agree that we looked much more dangerous with Griffiths and Armitage on the pitch, Steino looked dangerous, and Prosser had a poor game by his standards.
Well done to Ryan Dorrian for bagging the 100th goal, up from full back to break the deadlock, he has had a good run in the side, and apart from the game against Bradford, he has been solid for a number of weeks.
There is no stopping us now, promotion and the title will all be wrapped up in the next few weeks UP THE TOWN
