Yate town away Train ?
I am thinking of doing Yate away by train April 27th, looking at google maps etc might be taxi job from station to the ground. Has anyone done that before and if its viable in a taxi couple of quid. Any other posters thinking of the train for this one ?

There are a few of us going on the train for the last game. Leaving Merthyr on the 10.38 train.

Ground is about a 15 min walk from the train station, nice leisurely stroll on a beautiful spring day that is!

The 1238 crew ride again just a bit earlier!
10.38 gets us to Yate at 1.01pm via Cardiff and Filton Abbey Wood.
The 7.11pm from Yate gets us back in the Pearl at 9.30pm in time for a late one in the Candac.

I might go if there's anything riding on it. Don't know if there're any pubs in the area as I walked into the town and that's a good half hour walk from the ground.

I'm in. County will be playing on the Sunday in the play-offs, so it's an all weekender for me.

Hope it's not the case that Merthyr need a win to clinch a play-off spot!
read on Twitter (again) that we need 16 points from the remaining seven games to guarantee a play-off place

Hopefully free on Saturday, so looking at doing this on the train too, and it's only an hour from Caerdydd.

For the Ebbw Vale lads, it's the 10.40am from Parkway to Cardiff.
Yes and it's 12.00pm from Cardiff Central to Yate.
