Cancer Aid Shirts 2013

As you may be aware the Martyrs will be wearing a Pink and Black Kiit on New Years Day in Aid of Cancer Aid Merthyr, the Shirts will then be auctioned to raise money for the Cancer Aid Charity.

We have a Total of 17 Out field Shirts Numbered 2- 17 to be auctioned , plus 4 extra Shirts without any numbers on them. Below will be a list of Numbers and Shirt Sizes , we are looking to Start the Bids at £35 onwards.

Thanks also to Trade Centre Wales who have donated £300 towards the appeal, this means that the cost for producing the Shirts as been met and all monies raised from the Shirts Sold can go fully towards the Cancer Aid Charity.

Martyrs in the pink for cause

MERTHYR Town will wear a pink and black playing strip for their EvoStik Southern League home match against Evesham Town at Penydarren Park on New Year’s Day (3pm).

The Martyrs boys in black and white swap colours in aid of charity. They will send out a “pink and black attack” against Evesham in support of the Mayor’s Appeal for Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil.

Shirts worn by Merthyr players, starting at £35 each, are being sold in an auction to be held after the game.

They will have a pink and black colour scheme, with the familiar Martyrs badge plus a one-off Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil logo, making it a commemorative and special edition kit.

There will also be a raffle and bucket collection during the match.

Just a Thank You to all Supporters who purchased the Pink Shirts yesterday, plus all supporters who donated via the Bucket Collection and who bought Raffle Tickets.

Also to Trade Centre Wales for donating £300 towards the cost of the Shirts being printed.

We have raised over £800 ( so far) towards Cancer Aid Merthyr with the Shirt Sales / Bucket Collection plus the post match Raffle, and we are looking to hit a £1000 target to be donated to Cancer Aid Merthyr.
