Any predictions for the attendance on Saturday for the game with Yate Town?

Attendance
I reckon we'll get 350 but of them it will include one fan who issues death threats to the officials and one fan who is so incensed with the referee that he looks as if he is due a thrombo at the end of each game....if we lose that is. How do some get so worked out about a pigs bladder of air that keeps going down in the first 15 minutes....those tubular balls and fans with high to volcanic blood pressure are the real entertainment....watching the sons of Atalanta play Brazilian beach football on that bobbly surface is just a mere distraction....350 radon gas infused fans...that's worth the £8.00 admission fee on its own....which one will explode first....mr kill the referee or mr hypertension...now that would be a good bet in play.....350....pop....349 by 4.45pm....boz 1964

Having a go at the referee is a regular pastime at Penydarren Park.

6:30am, Mountain Ash. Skies clear, frost heavy. Prediction: frozen pitch. Attendance 0 and referee sleeps easier on Friday night.
Re: Saturday's attendance
A small amount of light snow further up the hill in Penydarren this morning. Was very frosty overnight.

Saturday's Attendance
Sadly I shall be among a third category of fans for the Yate game - a 'Mr Invisible' -one of the thousand or so who should be there but won't be. I'm being dragged off to a cultural experience, having argued to no avail that being at PP is a powerful cultural experience in its own right. A little selfish voice in me is hoping the game will be off so I will miss nothing - but we need to keep the momentum going and not accumulate any more games in hand.

A light dusting of snow down the Valley early this morning but rain now.
We seem to lose out when games are postponed on a Saturday as midweek gates are poorly attended. On the other hand, at this time of the year, attendances are also down on a Saturday. It's difficult!

I was assuming my son would be with me, but he decided after all he would stay at home and watch a James Bond film.
He perhaps made the right choice.

Yes - now that always sounds to me like a title from J.K.Rowling (a Yate girl herself - see match programme). Harry Potter and the Quantum of Solace...
