It's that time of year again. The annual supporters' sponsored walk to Penydarren Park will be on 14th July which is of course the Trust's birthday. This year we'd like to help our Women's team with some much needed funds so please donate if you can.

Mike Donovan has sorted the route although we will start from Llandetty so it'll be a mile or so shorter.

We will need walkers of course, don't forget that it's over the Beacons so although it'll be a leisurely pace it could be challenging. We also would appreciate volunteers to transport the walkers from Merthyr to the starting point in Llandetty.

We will meet at Penydarren Park at 8am.

Only 4 days until the fans walk from Talybont to raise money four Women’s team. Thanks to everyone who has donated and helped so far, we’ve got £175 of the target at the moment.

Just a reminder that everyone will assemble at Penydarren Park at 8am tomorrow for the mini bus to Talybont for the start of this year's sponsored walk.

We will also have a bucket collection before and during the City of Liverpool FC game.

The walkers finished the walk from Talybont-on-Usk in 3.5 hours, over 25,000 steps and 11.5 miles. It was hot but thankfully at the top of the ridge a bit of cloud cover made things a little cooler. The first couple of miles from Talybont were tough as it was a constant climb. A couple of much welcomed celebratory pints in the Pant Cad Ifor and the lads arrived at Penydarren Park for the Supporters Direct Shield match.

All monies raised in the walk will go to our Women's team.

The total raised so far for our Women's team is £290.00
